SPD Summer Tour Set To Begin

Huntsville, AL The Space Product Development Program will begin its summer tour later this month by attending the Lunar Development Conference in Las Vegas and exhibiting at the EAA AirVenture 2000 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and the Drug Discovery Conference in Boston.

The exhibit at AirVenture 2000 will feature the Wisconsin Center for Space Automation and Robotics (WCSAR) Commercial Space Center and its work on commercial plant growth research, and Dr. Harry Whelan and Quantum Devices, Inc., and their work on medical uses for LEDs developed for WCSAR.

The exhibit at Drug Discovery will feature representatives from BioServe Commercial Space Center (Colorado and Kansas State) along with a variety of hardware and products relating to commercial space and microgravity biotechnology research.
